Ladies Bible and Art Class

MariaElena with her art students
January was an awesome month for sharing the Good News as the Mexican children celebrated Kings Day. This holiday is more popular than Christmas as Mexican tradition is that Kings Day is when the three kings bring presents for the children as they did with Jesus 2000 years ago. Even the poorest of children receive at least one toy. MissionMexico was able to minster to many children thans to friends and supporters of the ministry in Mexico. In addition, MariaElena started a ladies art class for ladies in the neighborhood. She now has a couple of ladies attending and during each class she shares a devotional. Please pray other mothers to be attracted to this beautiful outreach.
Howie and Alison Madsen from Island Baptist Church

Howie and Alison Madsen
MissionMexico and George Washington Carver School blessed by a week long visit by Howie and Alison from Long Beach Island, NJ. Both the church and Howie and Alison have been supporters of the ministry here in San Miguel Allende so their visit was an opportunity to see first hand what God has been doing here in Mexico. They were blessed by what they saw as well as being a blessing to others. Howie and Alison invested in the students, visited with the Chichimeca Indians and taught a tennis clinic at the school for the other children.
Back To School

Director Janice Driscoll with kinder students
After three weeks of school many of the students were anxious, as well as their parents, return to school. Many of the parents have expressed gratitude for the progress they see in their children both academically as well as spiritually. Each morning there is a chapel service with life application lessons taught from the Bible. In addiiton, each of their classes include memorizing a Bible verse. To the best of the director's knowledge all of the students from first grade up are now Christians. PTL!
Saturday Bible Club

The Mission Base Two Car Garage filled with children
Week after week dozens of neighborhood children filled the 2 car garage on the first floor of the mission base building. MissionMexico and members of Cristo, Roca Eterna, the local Mexican church, combine forces to minster to the precious Mexican children. The children come to sing praises and pray, play games, do a handcraft and enjoy a snack. This outreach that was inaugurated with North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship of Richardson TX has proven to be a favorite with the children. Many that attend the Saturday Bible club now come for the Home Bible study on Tuesday evening.
Sixty Two Grandchilden

P. Jack Driscoll and Tadeo
P. Jack has frequent contact with the studnets throughout the week as he shares daily at the chapel service as well as substitutes as a monitor when necessary. Many of the children come from single parent homes. Others have no father or grandfather figure in the home so they are naturally drawn to P. Jack. Having grown up in a family of nine children P. Jack is sue to a lot of children and finds great delight in mentoring (discipling) these precious children. Pray that he and the other staff members reveal Jesus Christ to these children on a daily basis. As parent said recently "my greatest desire is for my children to grow up knowing Jesus Christ:
